Bark Ring
Bark Ring.
This is the first of the jewelry I'm making using the texture of tree bark. This ring is made by directly casting a piece of bark in silver making it one of a kind. It's a fairly big ring. It can be worn on a middle or index finger. It's a size 8.5 but can be sized. The top is 1 .25 inches long. It's quite comfrotable since the design it mostly on the top and the band is about 6 mm wide, also made with a bark texture.

These bronze buckles always come out a little different and I like to experiment with the patinas. It's difficult to control these patined buckles so I'm selling the more unique finishes here. The standard finish is a brown, bronze finish with a slight steel wool rubbing to reveal the higlights, then they are waxed and hand rubbed to a satin shine. There are plain starp belts and stiched edge belts that snap on for the fish, dog or gator buckles on the buckles page in the jewelry store. There are croc/lizard belts sold seperately. Look at the bottom of the gator buckles page for those belts. Peter Senesac
Here is another Redfish buckle in bronze with a good example of what I call the brown flake patina. I also put some green on this one. The green fades a little after wear and gets darker with exposer to heat and sun. I wore this buckle for about 3 weeks and this is the color it achieved. It will stay about like this. Other buckles made with this alloy will eventually get to this color and "scale" pattern, even if they start out with a high polish. However, it will take about 6 months of constant wear to go from high shine to this. This one looked like this from day one due to the patina I put on it. This one is sold but is a good example of the Scale patina
